Karen MathesonI offer twenty years of training in the holistic field. On a personal path to heal I sought out techniques to allow me to heal emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. I was introduced to Reflexology where I had 21 points triggered on my feet. This released the toxic build up of years of surgeries and medication. I studied Reflexology and became a practitioner.

Working with my clients I began to experience their emotions. Seeing a pattern of emotions associated with particular organs, I wanted to explore more about this connection. I studied Energy Healing, a technique that utilized my ability to sense energy. This developed my intuitive connection to the body allowing me to work with my clients at a more in-depth level.

Later in India, I experienced yoga, meditation and massage daily as I was having massage I experienced flashbacks to my childhood trauma. Something that I thought had been resolved. I knew then that I needed to study Massage and the connection between body and memory. So I obtained my Master Practitioners level in Psychosomatic Therapy.

Next, I realized that a person had to change their beliefs in order not to rebound into old actions. my path took my  into REIKI, PSYCH-KHypnotherapy and THETAHealing. Finally the full body, mind, spiritual connect to healing was obtained. I now share these techniques of healing with clients.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology dates back to Egypt 2330 BCE, by using a triggering technique on the feet stimulating twenty-one points connecting the nervous system to the internal organ system the body begins to balance and detoxify. The tuning of the internal system allows the body to relax and promotes the body’s innate ability to heal. The physical touch also allows for the client to feel connected to their body, promoting wellness.
Reflexology is called the “Road Map” to the internal organs. By trigger pointing the associated points on the feet or hands the organs are put back into a rhythm tic flow so that the body works from a balanced state.

What is Psych-K?

Psych-K is a combined technique to muscle testing, Whole brain rebalancing use to balance the client into a positive state of belief. Muscle testing – Applied Kinesiology – first identifies the negative belief and the whole brain technique is use to re-establish a positive state so that the client can break the patterns of negative action.

What is ThetaHealing?

There are five different brain wave frequencies: Beta, Alpha, Theta , delta and Gamma everything you do is governed by your brain waves.

In the body the Theta state holds all emotions, thoughts and trauma. By tapping into the theta wave of the client the Practioner assists the client in releasing and balancing old memories, emotions and patterning.

With the use of the Charkas the energy of the body is rebalanced and old information is transmuted to a positive thought from which the client can utilize for healing.

Benefits of Theta healing: reduces anxiety, stress and promotes long lasting relaxation. It synchronizes the two hemispheres of the brain. Reduces pain and stimulates a joyful state in the client.

What is Psychosomatic Therapy?

Psych the mind and Soma the Body, this technique Psychosomatic Therapy is multi layered.  The Practioner is trained to read the bodies posture to identify any emotional posturing. Once this is done there is a trigger point release technique used to release the old emotions that are locking up or twisting the body.  When the release technique is done there is client may release emotions as a part of healing. Once the body it triggered the client can process up to two weeks at which time there should be a follow up treatment.  This continues as the client unravels their emotional past from the body. As the process is done the clients experience more control on their lives.  Their physical body unlocks and rebalances to a healthy state.

Please Note that Karen does this technique through massage as it works with releasing the body trauma in a safe and respectful way.
